Output 1 - Guide Pack


  • Description of cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of engaging family in science learning
  • Providing concrete examples
  • Telling success histories and how to avoid failures
  • Include QR codes to augment the package, such as linking to the project hub
  • It should be a document with:
    • Testimonies of the students (what convinced them to participate, what they liked, how they convinced their parents to participate)
    • Testimonies of the parents ((what convinced them to participate, what they liked, what they would say to convince other parents to participate)
    • Testimonies of teachers (what went well, problems)
  • Very defined delivery data



Output 2 - The movie


  • Drama: showing interactions among parents and students
  • Documentary with students, family, school contributions (interviews) and success/failure stories
  • Feelings, thoughts, testimonies straight after the events (recorded or written down)
  • Tensions
  • Write down important moments
  • Apart from the movie, creation of a comic book narrating the students' stories or a movie with avatars

Trip to the nature with parents.  The aim of the activity was to learn together - parents and students - in the local environment. The families explore the nature, know the butterflies species and their local distribution, conditions in which butterflies are active and which species are common and which are rare.  Then students come to school and pin the labels of butterflies on the big map. Then the school coomunity share with their individual findings and learn about the nature from each other. Thank to that all participats also know where are the places/habitats rich in general biological diversity, because the butterflies are perfect bioindicators.
