Feeders - Birdhouses

 We keep caring about the nature and finding more and more about its needs. Parents are very helpful in our efforts and today we met a school for the first step. 

Before that we explored the internet and met some inspiration for a good feeder. 

We also had a discussion on messenger about how the perfect birdhouse should look like. Finally when we desided about the shape we came to school for a meeting to start giving the shape of our ideas. The school supported us with materials and tools we not always have at home. 

When finished measuring, drawing and sawing the planks we took them home to finish the last part with parents :) 

We hope they will help us and we will also be able to record a small film.

Home Science Mission 2. Family Game

Trip to the nature with parents.  The aim of the activity was to learn together - parents and students - in the local environment. The families explore the nature, know the butterflies species and their local distribution, conditions in which butterflies are active and which species are common and which are rare.  Then students come to school and pin the labels of butterflies on the big map. Then the school coomunity share with their individual findings and learn about the nature from each other. Thank to that all participats also know where are the places/habitats rich in general biological diversity, because the butterflies are perfect bioindicators.
